Shannon is an Associate in the litigation section.  Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Shannon practiced at a boutique litigation firm in New Orleans for four years where her civil litigation practice focused on admiralty and maritime, products liability, insurance coverage and personal injury.  She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.

Shannon was born in Maryland and grew up in Georgia.  In 2006, she earned a B.A. in political science from Georgia State University graduating magna cum laude and as a HOPE scholar recipient.  In 2012, Shannon earned a J.D. and a diploma in Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.

While attending law school, Shannon was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team and student attorney for the LSU Law Immigration Clinic.  Prior to law school, Shannon was a Sr. Immigration Assistant at an international law firm in Atlanta where she liaised with international companies assisting with employment and business immigration matters.
