Tori is a native New Orleanian, who was born and bred in the City.  Tori attended Louisiana State University for both her undergraduate and law degrees.  Consistent with her deep roots in Louisiana, Tori has a long history with the firm, having clerked with GLL while in law school, joining the firm as an associate in 2010, and becoming a member of the firm in 2019.

Tori is licensed in the State of Louisiana and has practiced at every level of the Louisiana judicial system, including most of the 42 Louisiana judicial district courts, each of the five Louisiana Courts of Appeal as well as the Louisiana Supreme Court. She is also admitted to practice and has equal experience before all three of Louisiana’s federal courts and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.  In addition, Tori has practiced pro hac vice before courts in other states in order to represent and protect the interests of her clients.  As a recognition of her level of skill, experience, and success achieved for her clients, Tori has been repeatedly recognized as a Rising Star in Civil Litigation by her peers.

Representative Cases

As a trained litigator, Tori’s practice is as varied as the many industries in which her clients do business, including oil and gas, medical devices, cosmetics, healthcare, construction, transportation, retail, insurance, aviation and even the legal industry itself.  Tori excels in representing her clients in any way in which civil litigation intersects with their business, including contract enforcement and defense, product liability, toxic tort, property damage, construction defect, premises liability, personal injury, insurance coverage, and fee disputes.  And, she does so to whatever degree of litigation is required, including all aspects of pretrial, trial, and appellate practice, as well as commercial arbitration.

Education

Tori has deep roots at Louisiana State University, which is where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing in 2007, Graduate Diploma in Civil Law in 2010, as well as her Juris Doctorate in 2010, graduating cum laude.  Emphasizing the strength of her writing and oral advocacy skills, Tori won the award for best brief as part of the Robert M. Tullis Moot Court Competition, served on the Moot Court Board, and competed regionally in the area of workers’ compensation.
