William has served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials in Louisiana federal and state courts and his practice focuses on defense of personal injury, mass tort, commercial loss, and insurance coverage claims.  He has also served as lead appellate counsel and has represented multiple indigent clients in Louisiana state court criminal proceedings on a pro bono basis.

– Lead counsel for landfill operator in state court case involving allegations of serious injuries sustained on client’s property resulting in jury defense verdict for client following seven day trial
– Lead counsel for transportation company in federal court case involving allegations of personal injury allegedly resulting from operator negligence resulting in jury defense verdict
– Defense of a chemical products manufacturing company in federal and state court proceedings regarding thousands of claims and multiple trials involving allegations of personal injury
– Defense of insurers in dozens of cases brought in federal and state courts regarding first party insurance coverage and alleged bad faith claims handling following Hurricane Katrina
– Defense of multiple cases in federal and state courts brought against manufacturers, transportation companies, and restaurants resulting in dismissal by summary judgment
